It's no secret that horse riding is an outdoor sport. What a pleasure it is for us riders to find ourselves one-on-one with our horse and nature. Even if we only ride in a riding school or arena, it's not uncommon for no one to be around us, giving us a real sense of freedom. This is where our little daily sessions can turn into drama when we fall off; and what a source of fear for our loved ones to know that we're on our own in the event of a fall off the horse.

1. Finally, a way to reassure your family and friends when you go riding.

Seaver has created Safe Ride to ensure a safe riding experience.

No need for accessories, just your phone!

Safe Ride is a brand new feature in the Seaver application. It will alert your loved ones when a fall is detected. It's as simple as that. Get on your horse.Launch Safe Ride. Keep your phone in your pocket. All you have to do is enjoy your ride!

2. Simple, intuitive operation

When a fall is detected thanks to your phone's movements, you receive an alert message on your phone to make sure everything's okay. If you respond, nothing happens, so all you have to do is get back on your horse and reactivate Safe Ride. 

If not, your phone will automatically send an alert message with your GPS coordinates to the emergency contacts you have defined. Your loved ones will then be able to come and get you, or alert the emergency services.

Beyond this safety function, Safe Ride also lets you keep track of your workouts. If you don't have CEEFIT, then the data that will be recorded is what you have access to on the app (distance covered, GPS track and speed). However, if you do have CEEFIT, your data will be recorded as usual, with all the elements available.

3. Real-time monitoring

As well as seeing what time you've started your session, your friends and family will be able to follow your workout live and see the route you're taking. They'll also have access to your battery level, to reassure themselves in case your phone goes dead if it breaks down.

If you're an outdoor rider practicing a discipline such as endurance or trec, this can be a very useful tool. Your friends and family, or your team, will be able to follow your progress on the course from one meeting point to the next, and see your progress in real time!

4.Functionality that can be used all your sessions

Safe Ride is not just for outdoor riders. In fact, there are almost 6,000 serious accidents involving falls from horses every year in Europe. Each and every one of us is liable to fall while riding. That's why Safe Ride is a guarantee of safety , even if you only ride in riding schools and arenas.

If you fall off a young horse and no one is at the stable while you're riding, who will know you've had an accident? The Safe Ride will enable your loved ones to come to your assistance if you fall.

Even if you never ride alone, this feature can be useful for parents who are concerned about their child's safety when riding. If you're a parent, theSeaver app will automatically send you a message if a fall is detected, and you'll be the first to know.

On the other hand, if you practice a high-risk discipline such as show jumping, cross-country, or any other discipline where speed is part of the equation, this tool can save your life both in training and in competition, as you can be rescued much more quickly than if you didn't have it.

Activate Safe Ride during all your sessions, even in confined spaces, and rest assured that Seaver will alert your loved ones in the event of a fall.

5. How do I get it?

To reassure your loved ones, simplyinstall the Seaver application and go to the Premium Service tab.

• If you don't already own a Seaver :

Select the Safe Ride subscription and choose your preferred monthly payment (monthly or yearly).

•     If you already own CEEFIT or CEEFIT + Pulse&ECG

You can choose between two subscriptions: Safe Ride or Santé +. With the latter, you'll have access to all the features of the Safe Ride, but you'll also be able to :

- Track your horse's progress through training sessions

- Synchronize 8 videos with your workouts

- Share 5 electrocardiograms with your veterinarian (only for CEEFIT + Pulse & ECG)

- Access your horse's stress management and recovery features
