Unlike World Cup events, it will be held over a calendar year as only riders under the age of sixteen are allowed to participate in international pony competitions.
The program will feature a warm up class to give the riders’ the opportunity to get used to the arena and then a qualification class with jump off over a course of 1m35.
The first edition will take place at Mechelen Christmas Horse Show from 26 to 30 December but will count for the season 2017. The next competition will be held in the Netherlands at the Indoor Brabant. Then the circuit will resume after the summer season to end in December with a final competition that will bring together the top ranked couples.
Only two riders from the 5 best countries of the European Championship will be selected. Moreover, the FEI and the organizers reserve the right to award three Wild Cards each, thus giving two French riders the opportunity to compete in the next edition.
The aim of this initiative is not only to let riders enjoy the most beautiful infrastructures but also to give them the opportunity to ride in front of the public of these great events.
